I just wanted to touch base with you on these pipes, if you still have them. Much of my faculty research has to do with resonant properties of wood used in highland bagpipe and material culture pertaining to this. According the photographs this pipe is likely mounted in celluloid and not ivory. Note the bold regular single direction lines and no organic &#039;cross hatching&#039;. This would fit your time period as well.</description>

Very nice sound  and experiment.i have noted that the bass sound is dominant in the old makers like sinclair and robertson,a good bass drone sound is in my opinion the key of a good ground sound for the pipes.A longer bass drone also will be interesting for the balance and sound.</description>
