Use any number of the fields below in your search.

If you'd like to use a wildcard in a text box search, use a % sign, instead of the conventional *.
This is not Google, the search terms you use must be typed exactly so as to match the entries in the database, unless you use a wildcard, of course.
Misspellings, words out of order, etc. will return zero results. Therefore, using as few search terms per field as possible will give you the best results, in general.

Title: Search both "Mac" and "Mc"? Yes No
Composer: Search both "Mac" and "Mc"? Yes No + I would recommend only searching by "first initial last name" as many books don't list the composer's full first name. Just make sure to leave out the middle initial and any periods. Leave out things like "P.M." too.
Book Number: The list of books included in this index can be found by clicking here. Searching by book number alone will list the entire contents of the book.
Page Number: Just a number, pretty useless to search by. Just here by default.
Tune Type: Now a drop down menu because I guess the previous implementation was confusing.*
Time Signature: Like this #/#, e.g. "6/8". Some Piobaireachd's/Ceol Mor omit the first number, e.g. "/8".
Number of Parts: Just a number, e.g. "2"

*Note, if a specific tune type is selected, results like "S/R", that is "strathspey/reel" (I guess to indicate both tune types are present), will be excluded from your results list.
